The South Island Farm Hub
Sustainable farming & gardening organization.The South Island Farm Hub is a farmer-driven produce distributor, serving southern Vancouver Island. The goal is to make fresh, local food, accessible to everyone in the community. The online platform allows local farmers to offer seasonal produce direct to charities, consumers, retailers, and wholesalers.
Since 2020, the online farmers’ market has expanded to include over 30 farmers and 25 food processors. Customers can order à la carte, or subscribe to a seasonal, organic Harvest Box program that highlights the best of the season all year round.
The South Island Farm Hub is an initiative of the Victoria Community Food Hub Society.
